Real Madrid’s Roberto Carlos’ is reportedly sleeping at the club’s training ground amid his divorce case
Reports suggest Carlos has separated from his wife, Mariana Lucon, whom he married in June 2009
According to Estadio Deportivo, the divorce settlement is expected to be ‘complicated’ due to the 51-year-old’s wealth, which is valued at around £133m ($166m).
As a result, Carlos has reportedly temporarily moved to the club’s training facility, Real Madrid Sports City in Valdebebas, while Lucon is said to be staying at their primary residence.
Carlos, a 2002 World Cup winner, spent 11 years at Real Madrid between 1996 and 2007, winning four La Liga titles and three Champions League trophies.
He is widely regarded as one of the greatest full-backs in football history and played alongside stars like Rivaldo, Ronaldo, David Beckham, Raul, and Luis Figo at both club and international levels.
