Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has shared an emotional message after Kilanko, a film featuring his late best friend and colleague Allwell Ademola, earned international recognition.
The movie has been nominated for Best Film by a Female Filmmaker (Nollywood) at a film festival in Toronto, Canada, a milestone that stirred mixed emotions for the actor following Ademola’s passing.
Announcing the achievement, Salami expressed sadness that the actress would not be present to witness the moment they had both worked towards.
He wrote:
