Popular Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has been admitted to the hospital after a critical health episode he says nearly cost him his life
The actor took to Instagram on Monday to share a photo from his hospital bed, opening up about a distressing experience he endured over the last 48 hours.
Salami linked his condition to the intense physical and emotional strain from working on “Kilanko,” a recently released cinema project dedicated to late actress Allwell Ademola.
While he did not reveal the exact illness, he expressed gratitude for making it through the frightening ordeal, suggesting that his demanding schedule may have taken a serious toll on his health.
“I survived the last 48 hours because God said yes. I’m not the type to say ‘Devil is a liar’ because I’ve truly stressed this body. Kilanko has taken too much from me,”, he said.
His post quickly drew concern from fans and colleagues, many of whom sent prayers and well wishes while encouraging him to focus on rest and recovery.
