Russ Cook, known as the ‘Hardest Geezer,’ finished the London Marathon after his incredible 10,000-mile run across Africa.
At 27, he joined 50,000 others in the race, completing the tough 26.2-mile course in four hours and 25 minutes.
Just two weeks earlier, Russ wrapped up his journey across Africa, which took him nearly a year. Starting in South Africa and ending in Tunisia, he faced challenges like being robbed and held hostage.
Despite the difficulties, Russ remained upbeat, joking about burning off the pastries he enjoyed during his break.
His London Marathon run supported the Running Charity, and he looked unfazed by the challenge, waving to the crowds along the route.
Russ’s determination and spirit have inspired many, proving that even after conquering incredible feats, there’s always more to achieve.
