Nigerian comedian and content creator Sabinus has explained why he continues to shoot most of his comedy skits in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, despite being based in Lagos.
According to him, he usually travels to Port Harcourt when it is time to film his skits before returning to Lagos, where he spends his time outside filming and focuses on other aspects of his career.
During a conversation, he said:
“All my comedy skits I shoot them in Port Harcourt, but I base in Lagos even till now. I have a time I normally go to shoot, then I come back to Lagos to enjoy my life, then do some connections, but my skit shoot goes down in Port Harcourt because of my kind of storyline.”
Sabinus said the decision to continue filming in Port Harcourt is connected to the type of storylines he uses for his comedy.
While Lagos remains his base, he still makes the trip to Port Harcourt specifically for his skit productions.
