Mohamed Salah has taken to social media to mourn the passing of his teammate, Diogo Jota
Salah said he never believed there could ever be a thing that can make him be scared of returning to the club, until the passing of Diogo.
He said the footballer would be missed and it will be hard to come to terms that, he won’t be resuming with them after the break.
He prayed for the late footballer and brother, who lost their lives in a car crash saying his prayers are with his wife, children and family.

Salah wrote: “I am truly lost for words.
“Until yesterday, I never thought there would be something that would frighten me of going back to Liverpool after the break.
“Team mates come and go but not like this. It’s going to be extremely difficult to accept that Diogo won’t be there when we go back.
“My thoughts are with his wife, his children, and of course his parents who suddenly lost their children. Those close to Diogo and his brother Andre need all the support they can get. They will never be forgotten.”
Jota and Salah had been teammates since the Portuguese joined from Wolves in 2020.
