Music producer Samklef has openly criticized music artist Davido for making disrespectful comments about the estranged wife of Israel DMW, Davido’s logistics manager.
As reported by Ladunliadinews Davido implied that Sheila, Israel’s ex-wife, might be upset because Israel is doing well, highlighting their lavish lifestyle with private jets and luxury spending, suggesting that it was Sheila’s loss.
In several tweets, Samklef expressed his disappointment with Davido’s words, questioning why he would speak about someone’s ex-wife in such a degrading way. He stressed that these kinds of remarks are wrong and urged Davido to be mindful of the impact of his words.
Samklef also asked Davido to think about how he would feel if someone spoke about his own wife, Chioma, in a similar way, advising him to grow up and handle such matters more maturely.
He further noted that Davido’s music rivals, Wizkid and Burna Boy, would never act in such a manner. Samklef criticized Davido for lacking empathy, asking if Israel wasn’t already flying on private jets before his marriage. Despite Davido’s behavior, Samklef pointed out that his fans continue to support him.
In his tweets, Samklef said:
“How can you call somebody’s ex-wife a bitch? This is not cool! Davido need good mentoring! This is so wrong!”
“Imagine if dem call your wife bitch. Will Davido take it? Coming from somebody that just got married. Somebody need to tell him the truth. He needs to grow up!”
“Wizkid and Burna Boy will never do this! This is so so wrong! God told me to tell you this. Dear Davido, you’ve shown a lack of morals by calling Israel’s wife a ‘bi*tch.’ How would you feel if someone called your wife, Chioma, the same? Why do you lower yourself like this? Happiness doesn’t come from flying in a private jet—you need mentorship and counselling.”
