Music Producer, Samklef has criticized Afrobeats star Davido for supporting VeryDarkMan, who is in EFCC custody
Samklef questioned Davido’s commitment to the #FreeVeryDarkMan cause, noting his absence from a related protest.
Samklef also expressed skepticism about VeryDarkMan’s character, mentioning past controversies and accusing him of bias.
He believes the EFCC will release VeryDarkMan once their investigation is complete, and that VeryDarkMan is facing consequences for his actions.
Samklef’s comments also suggest he’s not entirely supportive of VeryDarkMan’s cause.
He tweeted:

“EFCC no Dey work with emotions! This same VDM that once said he would help Davido ‘kpiá’ me—some Nigerian youths are just too gullible and biased.
He can’t even call out certain people. VDM is facing his own karma now. What you do to others will eventually be done to you. Same person wey attack Igbo business men.”
“EFCC or whoever picked VDM up—will release him once they’re done with him. Simple.
He chose this path, and he has to face everything that comes with it.
