Just hours after his release, Samuel Ojeogwu, popularly known as Sammy West and the elder brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, and his wife marked a significant milestone — their second wedding anniversary
The couple, who tied the knot on November 11, 2023, celebrated their journey together with heartfelt reflections and a touching family photograph shared on social media.
In her Instagram post, Sammy West’s wife poured out her emotions, highlighting the depth and meaning of their marriage. She wrote:
“Exactly 2 years ago, Nov 11, 2023, we said ‘I do’ — not just to a wedding, but to a lifetime of showing up for each other. A year later, I can say with full heart that marriage is more than a ceremony or a title. It’s a daily choice: to love when it’s easy, and especially when it’s not; to communicate when words feel heavy; to forgive quickly; to laugh often; and to keep growing together.”
She reflected on the lessons learned in their first two years together, acknowledging both the challenges and the joys of marriage:
“This first year has been full of lessons, laughter, late-night talks, ups and downs, and quiet prayers. We’ve faced moments that tested us, but also moments that reminded us how powerful love can be when two people are truly committed to the same vision — not of perfection, but of partnership. Marriage has taught me that love isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about holding each other through the figuring out, celebrating the little wins, giving grace during the hard times, and always remembering that at the end of every day, we’re on the same team.”
Addressing her husband directly, she expressed gratitude and admiration:
