Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze has buried his late mother in his father’s hometown of Oko-Item, Aba in Abia State
The burial ceremony drew family members, friends and top football stakeholders to the quiet community as the football star laid his mother to rest.
A wake-keep was held the night before in Umuahia, where relatives and sympathisers gathered to honour the deceased and pay their final respects.
Also present at the burial was the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Nigeria Football Federation President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, alongside other dignitaries from the football community.
