Sarah Martins calls out dispatch rider over harassment

.Actress Sarah Martins has called out a dispatch rider, identified as Opeyemi, whom she accused of repeatedly harassing and insulting her after she once helped him.

According to Martins, she had previously reported Opeyemi to his company over what she described as harassment. She said the situation later attracted attacks from some Nigerians, who bullied her until she eventually gave in.

She explained that, out of pity, she once took him out for lunch and went shopping with him because she wanted him to feel cared for.
However, after noticing what she described as an entitled attitude, she decided to distance herself.

Martins said a fan later gave her a motorcycle to give to Opeyemi. The bike needed some repairs, and after it was examined, she was told the essential repairs would cost about ₦150,000, while painting alone would cost around ₦350,000.

She said she made it clear that she could not spend ₦350,000 on painting and would only take care of the necessary repairs. According to her, she asked Opeyemi to leave the bike with her and return when the repairs were completed.

However, she said he insisted on taking the bike immediately, so she allowed him to leave with it and gave him ₦20,000. Martins added that it was also the end of the month and she had just paid the salaries of more than 13 workers.
She said she asked him to give her a few days to send the remaining money, but he allegedly began calling her repeatedly as though she owed him.

When she stopped answering his calls, Martins said Opeyemi began sending her messages in which he allegedly insulted her and made comments about her marital status.

In a post she shared on her page, she said:

“That’s why I no go ever see husband.”
Martins said she now feels threatened and warned him not to send her such messages again.

“Whoever that knows Opeyemi, the dispatch rider, kindly help me warn him because I’m going to use every means to get to him and bring him down. I feel like my life is under threat.”

She added:
“This is a direct warning to you: if you ever send me any message like this again, I will use every connection I have to deal with you.”
