Security guard d!es suddenly at workplace

Osun State Police Command has commenced an investigation into the mysterious de.ath of a security guard, identified as Basiru Aminu, who was discovered lifeless at his duty post in the Oke Ola area of Igbaye

According to local sources, Aminu’s body was found early on Tuesday morning around 7 a.m. by residents who quickly alerted the police to the incident.

Confirming the development, the Police Public Relations Officer for the command, ASP Abiodun Ojelabi, said preliminary findings revealed no visible marks of violence on the deceased.

“It appears to be a sudden and natural de.ath. The incident occurred at Oke Ola in Igbaye, where the deceased, who worked as a security man, was found de.ad this morning. One Fasasi Adebowale contacted the deceased’s brother to inform him of the situation,” Ojelabi said.

“The matter was reported to the police, and our officers visited the scene. After examining the body, we found no evidence of physical assault. However, investigations are ongoing, and an autopsy may be conducted to determine the exact cause of de.ath,” he added.

The discovery of Aminu’s body reportedly caused panic and speculation across the community. While some residents suspect he may have been strangled, others believe he could have d!ed from a sudden health-related complication.

The police have assured that the outcome of the investigation will be made public once concluded.
