Yaken, now 22, lived in Egypt with his parents and was trained
like every other child. But last year Yaken left home, abandoning his fitness
job that he had dreamt will bring him wealth and pretty women to join ISIS men
on Syria battle field. His parents are heartbroken and other family members
wonder why he would leave his dreams behind to join such a group.

During the last Ramadan in July, Yaken took to his twitter
page where he posted a photograph of himself kneeling beside a decapitated
corpse on the killing fields of Syria, with the caption “Surely, the holiday
won’t be complete without a picture with one of the dogs”, referring to the
corpse he knelt beside.
