Selena Gomez has responded with sarcasm to a former U.S. Senate candidate’s call for her deportation

It all ensued when Gomez shared an emotional Instagram video expressing her sympathy for those affected by the recent ICE raids, particularly children.
In the video, Gomez said, “I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked. The children, I don’t understand. I wish I could do something. I will try everything, I promise.”
Her comments sparked both support and criticism, with Sam Parker accusing her of choosing “illegals” over America and having an “entitlement attitude.”
Parker called for Gomez’s deportation, citing her Mexican heritage, he said: “Deport Selena Gomez. She picked illegals over America because she’s the 3rd gen descendant of Mexican illegals who received citizenship in the ’87 Amnesty,”
“She has entitlement attitude toward America, like her illegal parents. Maybe Selena should be deported, too?”
However, Gomez responded with a sarcastic Instagram post: “Oh Mr. Parker, Mr. Parker. Thanks for the laugh and the threat.”
