The Senate has confirmed the nomination of Taiwo Oyedele as a minister-designate in the administration of President Bola Tinubu
His confirmation was announced by Senate President Godswill Akpabio after lawmakers endorsed the nomination through a voice vote during a Committee of the Whole session.
Oyedele is expected to take over from Doris Uzoka-Anite as the Minister of State for Finance.
President Bola Tinubu had earlier forwarded Oyedele’s name to the Senate for screening and confirmation shortly after announcing his nomination.
