Senate Seeks Common Visa & Currency In West African Countries

    The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu moved a motion on Wednesday that all member countries of the
    Economic Community of West African States should adopt a common currency,
    which
    would be a legal tender in all West African countries.

     Ekweremadu also suggested that  common visas for visitors travelling to any of the West African countries should be adopted so as to mark the  40th anniversary of the sub regional
    body, ECOWAS.
