Senate President Godswill Akpabio has instructed his legal team to withdraw all ongoing lawsuits against Senator Natasha and other individuals
Akpabio disclosed this during a New Year service at Sacred Heart Parish in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, where he said he had previously filed nearly nine court cases against people he accused of defamation and slander.

He explained that his decision followed a sermon delivered by the priest at the service, which he said deeply affected him.
“I had almost nine cases in court against some individuals who defamed me, who lied against me and slandered my name. But as I listened to the priest, I suddenly realised he was speaking to me,” Akpabio said.
According to the Senate President, the message inspired him to forgive those involved, prompting him to discontinue all legal actions.
“Therefore, I hereby direct my solicitors to withdraw all lawsuits against them,” he stated.
