Senator Tony Nwoye donates bungalow for six families in Anambra

Senator Tony Nwoye, representing Anambra North, has generously built and donated two-bedroom bungalows to six underprivileged families in his constituency.

In addition to this, he constructed six classroom blocks and over 143 lock-up shops in markets across Onitsha and Ogbaru Local Government Areas. These projects aim to enhance educational opportunities for youth, empower local residents, and boost commercial activities.

During the handover ceremony on Thursday, Nwoye, a Labour Party lawmaker, explained that these efforts were part of his celebration of one year of “impactful and purposeful” leadership in the Anambra North Senatorial District. He stated, “This gesture is the least of my accomplishments in my first year in office. It is evidence of my dedication and efforts to improve the lives of my constituents in the Anambra North Senatorial District and Anambra State.”

The senator highlighted several key projects, including the construction of community markets, fresh fruit market stalls, and lock-up shops across various Local Government Areas. He also provided 20 boats for fishing, a marine ambulance for emergencies, and training for 80 youths in e-marketing, along with distributing phones, laptops, refrigerators, and power generators.

Nwoye has further contributed to the development of road infrastructure, empowering around 13,000 individuals by providing them with tools to support their livelihoods. He mentioned several road projects, including the construction of Eziafo Road and the rehabilitation of the Mkpoloakwa-Ojilibu Road, among others.

The senator expressed his commitment to continue these efforts, promising even more achievements in the coming years. He also noted his involvement in sponsoring motions and bills addressing critical issues in his district, along with constructing a modern youth center with a hostel in Fegge, Onitsha, and additional infrastructure projects across the region.
