Senegal has recorded its first case of Ebola with a 21 year
old Guinean currently quarantined at a healthcare facility in Dakar, Senegal. The 21-year old patient who was being treated in his country
had fled Guinea to seek refuge in Senegal. But Guinea’s Ministry of Health
immediately informed Senegalese medical authorities who managed to locate and
quarantine him in a hospital in the capital.
