Vice-President Kashim Shettima has commended President Bola Tinubu for his modest leadership style and commitment to improving Nigeria’s fortunes
Speaking at a book launch in Abuja, Shettima shared his experience visiting Tinubu’s residence in Lagos, expecting a lavish mansion but finding a modest home instead.
According to The Cables, he contrasted Tinubu’s simplicity with the luxurious expectations often associated with political leaders, noting that his own house in Maiduguri is more opulent.
Shettima urged Nigerians to support President Tinubu, describing him as a leader making tough but necessary decisions for the country’s future.
He praised Tinubu’s focus on leaving a lasting legacy rather than accumulating wealth, citing his simple lifestyle and willingness to make bold decisions to address the country’s challenges.
