Ibrahim Chatta, a filmmaker and culture enthusiast, has disclosed that he invested N1.4 billion of his personal funds in a 74-acre film village in Oyo State
The movie and production home is designed to showcase traditional Yoruba architecture and heritage, features indigenous-style houses, animal stables, and other facilities.
Ibrahim Chatta mentioned that he did not rely on loans or grants for the project, which took four years to complete due to financial challenges.
The film village aims to promote and preserve Yoruba cultural heritage through film production and other cultural activities.
