Singer Simi has responded to a fan who asked why she hasn’t released an album in 2026, despite usually dropping one every two years.
The fan questioned what made this year different, and Simi had a very simple answer.
The fan wrote:
U drop album every 2years, why is 2026 different?.
Simi responded:
“A human being came out of my body, that’s how 😭 😭 😭”.
The singer welcomed her second child in March 2026, giving her a pretty obvious reason to take a break from her usual album schedule.
So, while another Simi album may have to wait, she has been busy with a much bigger arrival this year.
