Streamer Peller claims skit making has become unprofitable, stating that many content creators are struggling financially and transitioning to TikTok
In a live video with fans, Peller noted that Instagram’s skit-making scene has dwindled, with creators seeking better opportunities on TikTok.
He attributed this shift to financial struggles, saying “hunger is k!lling” many Instagram creators, implying they’re no longer able to sustain themselves through skit making alone.
He said: “You see any content creator for Instagram wey still dey post skit? E no dey pay. All of them don come TikTok. We are doing live video together, can you see. Hunger is killing everybody. Hunger is killing a lot of Instagram people. When last you see say person post funny Instagram skit…”
