Popular artist and hypeman, Slimcase has shared on social media how much Wizkid has influenced his life.
He sparked online reactions after showing off a new tattoo of Wizkid’s face on his chest, which led to mixed opinions. While some appreciated the gesture, others accused Slimcase of seeking attention through Wizkid.
Slimcase, known for his unique street-hop style and hits like “Oshozondi” and “Shepeteri,” has always shown admiration for Wizkid.
During a live session with his fans, Slimcase explained that the tattoo is a tribute to Wizkid’s significant impact on his life. He considers Wizkid not just an idol but a true inspiration.
He also recalled their first meeting at a club in 2017, thanks to singer Tiwa Savage. In his words, “If I tattoo Big Wiz, it’s because of the impact. I met him at a club in 2017. I looked at him and said, ‘Ha.’ Shout-out to Tiwa Savage, who introduced me to Big Wiz.”
