On Sunday, Sofia Vergara was rushed the the emergency room with an eye condition, which forced her to cancel her presenting gig at the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards
The 53-year-old AGT judge – who boasts 59.3M social media followers – announced on Instagram: ‘Didn’t make it to the Emmys but made it to the ER. Sorry I had to cancel! Craziest eye [allergy] right before getting in the car!’
Sofía shared footage of her despairing while reclining on a hospital bed.
Vergara also posted a clip of her seeking relief by using the specialized eye-rinse faucet.
The five-time Emmy nominee received well wishes from her fellow America’s Got Talent colleague, Terry Crews, who commented: ‘Oh no! Get well soon!’
Rapper Snoop Dogg posted a praying hands emoji while nineties supermodel Linda Evangelista offered: ‘Uncommon to have allergy in one eye only, a [dermatologist] can help.’
DJ Diplo posted worried emojis and heart emojis and wrote: ‘Oh no.’
And Armie Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers wrote: ‘All the healing vibes. Love you.’
