Solomon Buchi, a well-known media personality and life coach, has openly criticized Big Brother Naija participants Doublekay for deciding to showcase their marriage on the reality TV show.
Kellyrae and Kassia, who are known together as Doublekay, were involved in a dispute in the house after a fellow contestant accused Kassia of inappropriate behavior.
In the footage, Kellyrae was seen scolding his wife for leaving the conversation while he was trying to address the issue. Although Kassia denied the accusation involving the male housemate, Kellyrae urged her to be more careful in the future.
Reacting to the video, Solomon Buchi, in a post that has since been deleted, condemned the couple for participating in the reality show while being married.
He commented on their apparent disregard for the institution of marriage, reminiscing about a time when marriage was highly respected. Buchi noted that today’s couples seem eager to be part of a show that promotes questionable morals and romantic entanglements.
His words: “Wait, a married couple went on Big Brother Naija? You guys have no respect for marriage. There was a time that people believed one had sense just because they are married. These days married people are scrambling to get on a reality show that thrives on romantic affairs and immorality.”
