South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa is in Nigeria.
He was received by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Ramaphosa arrived at the Villa at about 10 am today, Wednesday, December 1, and was received by the President himself.
He, thereafter, inspected a guard of honour and was treated to a 21-gun salute.
His visit comes hours after the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed the first two cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Nigeria which they traced to South Africa.
