Suspended South Korean president Yoon Suk Yeol has been detained – according to the country’s anti-corruption agency – for criminal investigations related to his declaration of martial law last December
It’s the first time such an action has been taken against a sitting president in the country.
An impeachment trial is also underway by one of the country’s highest courts.
