Activist Omoyele Sowore has voiced support for embattled Lagos corps member Ushie Rita Uguamaye, aka Raye, as she faces disciplinary action over her viral video criticizing the Tinubu administration
Raye, currently serving in Eti-Osa Local Government Area, sparked controversy by calling out the government over inflation and describing Lagos as a “smelly state.” After refusing to delete the video, she was summoned by her Local Government Inspector (LGI) for disciplinary measures.
Standing in solidarity, Sowore, accompanied by his legal team, met with Raye to escort her to the LGI’s office. Sharing a video on X, he updated followers on the situation, writing;
