Activist and politician Omoyele Sowore, along with Nnamdi Kanu’s Special Counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, has been released from Kuje Prison after meeting their bail conditions
Also freed were Kanu’s brother, Prince Emmanuel, and several others who had been detained for participating in the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest in Abuja.

Sowore, who led the demonstration, was arrested by police at the Federal High Court in Abuja, where he had gone to attend Kanu’s trial.
The group was later arraigned before a Magistrate Court in Kuje, which granted them bail on Friday.
A video published by SaharaReporters on Monday showed Sowore, Ejimakor, Prince Emmanuel, and others leaving Kuje Prison with their belongings, chanting solidarity songs as they regained their freedom.
