The African Action Congress (AAC) has written to President Bola Tinubu, requesting permission to inaugurate its Presidential Campaign Council for its candidate, Omoyele Sowore, at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, Abuja, on November 11, 2026
The party also requested feeding and logistical support for 5,000 supporters expected at the event.
The request comes after the Presidential Villa recently hosted the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.
The AAC’s request seeks to hold its own campaign council inauguration at the same venue ahead of the 2027 general elections.
