Speed Darlington has been granted bail of N20 million with one surety of equal value following his arraignment at a Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday

Justice Ekerete Akpan approved the bail after the singer pleaded not guilty to a two-count charge of alleged cybercrime, as presented by his lawyer, Marshall Abubakar.
The court stipulated that the surety must be a Level 10 civil servant residing in Abuja and must submit an affidavit of means. Additionally, Speed Darlington was ordered to surrender his international passport and provide two recent passport photographs, along with the surety’s, to the court registrar.
Until the bail conditions are met, the judge directed that the singer remain in custody at Kuje Correctional Centre. The case was adjourned to March 18 for trial.
