Speed Darlington (Akpi), has regained his freedom after spending two months in detention

The announcement was made by his lawyer, Stan Alieke, who shared the news on social media along with a photo of Speed Darlington seated in Alieke’s office.
He further stated that their legal team would be pursuing justice for the violation of Speed Darlington’s fundamental human rights, allegedly perpetrated by the Nigerian Police Force, as well as the unjust treatment he endured.
Alieke also extended appreciation to colleagues, including Marshal Abubakar Esq., Barr. Deji Adeyanju, Barr. Hamza Nuh, and Barr. David, for their efforts in securing his release.
The entertainer’s troubles reportedly began after he made controversial remarks about Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy during a live video, which escalated into a legal dispute.
He was accused of defamation and public incitement, leading to his arrest and prolonged detention.
