The National Chairman of the All
Progressive Congress, APC, John Oyegun yesterday has said he expects politicians
now defecting to APC because it has all of a sudden become the winning party to
stay in their parties for the good development of democracy in the country.
Oyegun says the only reason why politicians are defecting to APC is because
their party has lost, and it is still not a good reason for them to defect.
Oyegun spoke to journalists shortly after casting his vote yesterday in Benin
City, Edo State, where he expressed his self on the defection issue. Here’s what
he said;

development. One would have advised that opposition members should stay where
they are, and form a formidable opposition party.” Mr. Oyegun said.
