Stranger r.a.p.e.d 7 year-old girl at dance studio as mum tried frantically to break door down

A rapist has been jailed for life after he snatched a little girl from a dance studio in Australia and r.a.p.e.d her in the toilets during a meth binge.

The seven-year-old child’s mother tried desperately to break the door down as Anthony Peter Sampieri, 56, assaulted her daughter in the men’s toilets at the studio in Sydney, Australia.

The details of the Sydney man’s horrific 40-minute knifepoint attack were laid bare this week as he was jailed for life over the incident at the Kogarah dance studio.

Judge Paul Conlon described the November, 2018, attack and sexual assault on the primary school girl as ‘every parent’s worst nightmare,’ according to the ABC.

The court was told Sampieri punched the girl’s face, threatened her with a knife, tied a cord around her neck, bound her wrists, then raped her in the men’s cubicle for around 40 minutes.

He reportedly filmed at least four-and-a-half minutes of the attack on his mobile phone.

Outside, parents who had been attending a dance class down the hall searched desperately for the missing girl.

As they burst into the toilet, bashing down the door to save the girl, he slashed at her rescuers with a knife, cutting the victim’s mum’s hand as she tried to pull her child away from him.

He also stabbed the father of another child at the studio in the stomach as he rescued the girl and detained her rapist.

Diesel mechanic Nick Gilio slammed the paedophile’s head against the wall then collared him, according to the Daily Star.

Sampieri is said to have knifed him several times before dentist Jeffrey Stack ran in and felled him with a single punch.

Outside court, Mr Gilio told reporters it was an “honour to have … freed [the victim] from the hands of evil.”

The judge praised Mr Gilio for his ‘courage’ in saving the girl from the knife-waving Sampieri even after he had been stabbed.

Sampieri reportedly pleaded guilty to 10 charges related to the rape, including three counts of having sexual intercourse with a child.

He also admitted seven charges related to sexually explicit and harassing phone calls he made to women in the weeks before the attack.

The court was told a psychiatrist had assessed Sampieri, who claimed not to be able to remember the assault.

It was also told he was an ‘ice’ user, the street name used in Australia for crystal methamphetamine.

He apologised in the New South Wales District Court for the crime and blamed the ‘insanity’ of his actions on the drug.

However Judge Conlon rejected inferences the attack was ‘spontaneous’ or ‘opportunistic’ or had stemmed from Sampieri’s long history of drug abuse.

He told the convicted paedophile his use of a cord from his shorts and another found in a bin to bind the girl and give himself time to escape suggested otherwise.

Jailing Sampieri, he told the rapist his victim would have to live with lifelong trauma that could even be triggered by entering the toilets in her own home.

Sampieri is being held in a hospital where he is being treated for liver cancer.

According to the ABC he was asked after the sentencing hearing last Friday if he expected to be cured.

He replied: “I don’t think so.”
