The arrival of Nigeria’s Super Falcons in Rabat, Morocco, has set the stage for their Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title defence, with the team touching down in matching green-white-green Kampala native attire that reflected the country’s national colours.
The ten-time African champions are now turning their full attention to the tournament, where they will be looking to retain the continental crown.
Nigeria have been drawn in Group C alongside Malawi, Zambia and Egypt, with each fixture presenting another step in their bid for a record-extending WAFCON title.
Following the squad’s arrival in Rabat, preparations have continued ahead of the Super Falcons’ opening group-stage match.
