Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen have attacked two villages, Mbang and Baga in Numan Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
The incident occurred on Thursday night as security operatives have been drafted to the affected villages.
The number of causalities is yet unknown but the Chairman of Numan Local Government Council, Hon. Arnold Bulus, has appealed for calm while normalcy has been restored to the scene.
