A suspected ritual killer who reportedly abducted a
three-year-old girl in Ikang, headquarters of Bakassi Local Government Area of
Cross River State, is currently cooling off at the police cell.

The suspect was said to have kidnapped the girl while she
was playing with her peers on February 28, and hurriedly took her to a nearby
forest where it was discovered that he purportedly inflicted injuries on the

Help came to the girl after it was noticed that she is
missing. Residents immediately raised the alarm and a search party combed the
