Swiss Woman, Beatrice Stockly Abducted In Mali Again

It has just been reported that a Swiss Citizen by the
name  Beatrice Stockly has been abducted
in Northern Mali by unknown gunmen. This is not the first time Beatrice has been abducted as she
was earlier kidnapped in April 2012 by militants but released followed the
mediation efforts of the Burkina Faso authorities.
According to a source the said gunmen knocked on her door on
Thursday night only to grab her right after she opened the door.
Foreigners are mostly kidnapped in African countries, including Nigeria but are latter released after a ransom. In 2011 two foreigners from South Africa and Sweden were
abducted and are still being held hostage by members of Al Qaeda (unfortunately, they don’t ask of ransom).
