T.I Blaze calls out Dapper over alleged ₦1.2bn discrepancy

Singer T.I Blaze has called out music executive Dapper, the partner of chef Hilda Baci, over his music catalogue, royalties and a contract he says has expired.

T.I Blaze made the claims in a series of posts on X on Friday.

He wrote:

“Im not being dramatic, i waited for this go amicably. 7months no new drop. You think say I jonzе. Me wey dey game pass 😂😂. Contract expire, you wan dull me keh. The -$185k after over a billion revenue prove it. Drop my catalogue I’ll pay it. Nah less”

The singer questioned the licensing of his intellectual property.

“F^ck Ripper music … Who dey licenses another person intellectual property without mutual agreement? Dapper your cup don finally full.”

T.I Blaze also questioned the role of V!rgin Music in the deal and asked about money he claimed was unaccounted for.

“How did virgin music get in to a business where you’re supposed to take 30 percent and bounce, from whose cut is virgin taking their bag? … how did 1.2 billion naira go unexplained. Dapper music come and answer?”, he noted

The singer’s posts accuse Dapper and the companies involved of issues relating to his catalogue, royalties, licensing and the terms of their agreement.
