T.I.’s teenage son King Harris has been arrested in Georgia for after almost hitting a police car

The 19-year-old son of the 44-year-old Atlanta rapper – who recently announced his retirement from performing – was locked up after being pulled over in Dunwoody, Georgia this week.
Police sources told local Atlanta station WSB-TV 2 on Wednesday that the teenager had pulled out of a gas station and nearly hit a cop car.
The officer proceeded to turn on their lights and pulled over the BMW being driven by King.
The incident report reads that the police officer could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Then as the law enforcement spoke to the teenager they also noticed that he had a gun on his hip so he was asked to place his hands on the steering wheel.
Finally when the officer had checked King’s information they found that he was wanted in Pickens County for a failure to appear.
The arresting officer wrote in the report: ‘I informed Mr. Harris that I would need to speak with him outside and opened the driver-side door.
‘Mr. Harris was cooperative, and I removed the firearm from his hip with no issue. I then had Mr. Harris step out of the vehicle and I detained him by placing handcuffs on him. I escorted Mr. Harris to my patrol vehicle, conducted a pat down, and placed him into the rear of my vehicle.’
The station also reports that there were two other people in the car who were taken out of the vehicle and searched as they found two small baggies of marijuana.
They were each cited for marijuana possession but not taken into custody.
King proceeded to be arrested and taken to the DeKalb County Jail.
It hasn’t been smooth sailing between the father and son duo either as last year T.I. got into a physical altercation with his son at an Atlanta Falcons NFL game as a family dispute over ‘silver spoon’ taunts got ugly.
