Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ concerts in Vienna have been cancelled due to a terrorist threat

The US singer was scheduled to perform at Ernst Happel Stadium on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, but the shows were called off after two men were arrested for allegedly plotting attacks on the venues.
The decision was made after government officials confirmed the threat, and tickets will be refunded within 10 business days.
The arrests were made on Wednesday, with one suspect, a 19-year-old, found to have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group and possessed chemical ingredients.
The investigation suggests the suspects were radicalised online.
Taylor Swift has previously expressed concerns about fan safety, citing the Manchester Arena bombing and Las Vegas mass shooting in 2017.
The cancellation prioritises the safety of the 3 million fans expected to attend the concerts over seven months.
