A mum of a child at the same school of an alleged victim slammed a teacher after she was arrested for allegedly “making out with an 11-year-old boy.”

Madison Bergmann, 24, was suspended from River Crest Elementary School in Hudson, Wisconsin. The boy’s mother allegedly heard her child speaking to his teacher over the phone and found alleged texts between the teacher and child.Teacher who 'made out' with student, 11, called 'attention seeking selfie queen'

Bergmann, who began teaching at River Crest Elementary in 2022, is also accused of telling the child how much she enjoyed him touching her and “making out,” the charging documents state. Cops also said they found a folder with the alleged victim’s name on it containing handwritten notes talking about how much they kissed one another.

One alleged handwritten note by Bergmann said: “One of my cousins is in the 5th grade and I can’t imagine a man talking to her how we talk. I know we have a special relationship and I do love you more than anyone in the world but I have to be the adult here and stop.”

“Oh, they’re full of rage about this,” the mom of one of another of Bergmann’s students told the New York Post of the family’s reported fury. “They’re out for her head. Everyone is. There are group texts and meetings, and people are checking in with [the family] to make sure they’re okay. It’s a mess.”

The mum added: “I just suspected something was off… Just a weird feeling. She was an attention seeker. A selfie queen. Pictures of herself from every angle, pictures of her cup of coffee, pictures of her cute shoes. Just one of those girls.”

Currently, Bergmann has been charged with one count of first-degree child sexual assault. She was released on a $25,000 signature bond. She was placed on administrative leave and barred from contacting any district students, parents or staff, and the Hudson School District told parents of the arrest on the same day.

A school statement on the matter read: “Learning about a school staff member and alleged inappropriate conduct that breaches trust is deeply troubling for all of us. We understand the gravity of this situation and are committed to providing the necessary support for any child who may be impacted. We kindly request the school community to respect the privacy of Hudson students and their families and refrain from spreading rumours or speculation.”

Hudson School District officials said counselling professionals will be present to help students and staff members who might be struggling with the allegations.
