Terrible! Teenage Girl Punches 87-Year-Old Woman In The Face In Bus Attack

CCTV footage has shown how an 87-year-old woman was punched
in the face on a bus by a teenage girl. Police in Croydon, south east London,
described the incident as a “nasty attack”, which left the pensioner
    with a black eye.
She appeared to be punched by one of two teens, who had
boarded the 166 bus without paying, according to Met detectives.
Two girls began arguing with the driver before the incident
    unfolded, officers said.

The woman can be seen on CCTV standing next to the pair
before a hand is raised towards her face, at around 3.20pm on Friday, October
    16. A female passenger then came to the aid of the alleged victim, who was
taken to St Helier Hospital, where she was discharged the same day.
Police wish to speak to both girls, described as black and
aged between 14 and 18, who then fled the scene of Brighton Road, Coulston.

Police sergeant Arran Hillier, from the Croydon Safer
Transport Team, said: “This was a nasty attack on an elderly woman who
just wanted to get home. I urge anyone who may recognise the suspects to
contact the police,” he said, while declaring them wanted for investigation.
Police probe: Officers investigating the incident wish to
    speak to two teenage girls
Suspect: Police issued the CCTV in an appeal to trace two
    girls
