Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre have reportedly ended their relationship, parting ways less than a year after they began dating
The split follows weeks of speculation online about the status of their romance, with Page Six reporting that the two are no longer together. No official reason has been given for the breakup.
The separation comes at a pivotal point in Taylor’s career, as she heads into awards season with strong momentum across both film and music. Their relationship had been closely followed throughout 2025, making the timing of the breakup notable as Taylor navigates one of the most visible phases of her professional journey.
Taylor, 35, and Pierre, 31, were first linked early in 2025 after attending the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles together. Public interest grew quickly when they appeared side by side at the Vanity Fair Oscars party shortly afterward. Their connection drew even more attention when Pierre starred in a short film tied to Taylor’s 2025 album, Escape Room, where they shared a steamy on-screen moment that intensified dating rumors.
In June, Taylor confirmed the relationship on Instagram with a birthday post dedicated to Pierre, sharing photos from his celebration. The couple continued making joint appearances, including at the BET Awards, where Taylor described Pierre as “very gentle,” saying he made her feel “safe” and not “in survival mode,” according to Page Six.
Pierre also spoke openly about his admiration for Taylor. During a panel promoting Escape Room, he referred to her as “really one of one.” The two were often seen together while promoting the project, coordinating outfits and appearing as a unit at industry events. The album later earned Taylor a Grammy nomination.
Their last major public appearance together was at the London premiere of Taylor’s film One Battle After Another, marking the final chapter of a relationship that remained in the spotlight for much of the year.
