Ibom Air passenger, Comfort Emmanson has broken her silence, following her discharge by a Lagos court
In a post shared on her Instagram page shortly after her release from Kirikiri Correctional Centre on Wednesday, Emmanson expressed gratitude for the support she received while hinting at the ordeal she faced.

“Thank you so much for all the prayers, love, and support. I’ve been released from prison, but I’m still in pain because of how I was treated.
I just need some rest and medical treatment before I share my own version of events. Thank you, my lovely friends and supporters — I truly appreciate you all from the bottom of my heart. God bless you all.
THANK YOU, MY GREAT GOD!!!”

Her statement came just hours after an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court struck out the five-count charge filed against her, following the withdrawal of the case by the police.
Emmanson was arrested on August 10 after an alleged altercation with cabin crew aboard an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos.
She says she will share her side of the story after taking time to rest and undergo medical treatment.
