The Grumpy Cat, real name Tadar Sauce, first became an internet and media star in 2012, but now Earl The Grump is aiming to steal her crown. Earl is a Puggle, that’s half pug, half beagle from the U.S. who is featured in a new book by Derek and Christine Bloomfield.
He looks permanently fed up and posts sour comments on his website, which warns: ‘Earl doesn’t want you to love him . . . he wants to be left in peace to eat, scratch and sleep.’
