Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has finally broken her silence after her clash with fellow actress Laide Bakare, which took place at the star-studded premiere of Eniola Ajao’s movie, Owanbe Thieves, held on Sunday, April 13, 2025

Drama unfolded on the red carpet after Badmus refused to pose for a photo with Bakare, bluntly stating they were not friends.
The tension escalated, leading to a heated exchange between the two actresses. Bakare later took to social media, accusing Badmus of sending her a direct message where she allegedly referred to her as “animalistic.” She also claimed that she once stood by Badmus during her early days in the industry, when others mocked her appearance.

In the midst of the controversy, Badmus took to Instagram to share stunning photos of herself, accompanied by a powerful message calling for peace, unity, and mutual respect. Though she didn’t mention names, her caption appeared to be a direct response to the ongoing drama.
She wrote:
“Life has a way of teaching us that true strength lies not in conflict, but in unity. Though we may have walked different paths and faced moments of tension, I believe it’s time to let love lead.”
“There is no need for jealousy when we can all succeed. Your success does not diminish mine, just as mine does not take away from yours. Let us continue to collaborate, to lift each other, and to build something greater than what we could ever achieve alone. There’s strength in unity and a future brighter than any victory we’ve pursued alone.”
“Let us avoid conflict, not because we are weak, but because we are wise. Peace is the path to progress, and love is the light that shows us the way. Here’s to better days, guided by understanding, shared goals, and mutual respect.”
While some observers have questioned whether the incident was genuine or staged for attention, others have praised Badmus’s mature and thoughtful approach to the situation.
