Music executive Ubi Franklin has taken to Instagram to express his concerns about the increasingly toxic and polarized entertainment landscape in Nigeria
He lamented that the aggressive rhetoric, physical threats, and conspiracies against others are not only harming the industry but also affecting his ability to invest in new artists.
This comes on the heels of dispute between singer Spyro and music executive Ubi Franklin over unpaid debts.
According to Spyro, Ubi Franklin deceived him into performing at an event under false pretenses and failed to pay an agreed amount
However, Ubi Franklin has a different story.
He claims that Spyro owes him a 10% commission for brokering a deal for a car worth N105 million, which amounts to N10.5 million.
