Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey is expected to leave Arsenal by the end of June, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano
Romano revealed on his X page that the 32-year-old will part ways with the North London club once his current contract expires on June 30. Negotiations between Partey’s camp and Arsenal have reportedly stalled, with talks not progressing positively.
Partey, who joined Arsenal from Atletico Madrid in 2020, signed a five-year deal that is now reaching its conclusion. Despite impressing during the 2024–2025 season, the club appears ready to move on.
Romano also reported that Arsenal have identified Brentford midfielder Christian Nørgaard as a potential replacement if Partey departs.
Meanwhile, Partey is currently on holiday and recently won the Ghana Footballer of the Year award for the third time at the Ghana Football Awards.
He finished the season with four goals and three assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.
